More filming

Just had a report from Brigade_Leader and Scooty (he is the god of set reports) that there is some Doctor Who filming going on RIGHT NOW (or possibly a few hours ago if you read this in a few hours time)

Anyway. So far there has been no activities, but some reports that there are a couple of trailers about for:
  • Little Red Riding Hood
  • A Non Blonde
  • Jackie Tyler
  • Enemy D
UPDATE: The filming is going on inside, so there wont be that much to see, but Deej said that "I had a peek in earlier and saw a glass table with black ornaments or gadgets on it, surrounded by white moulded plastic chairs..."

AND, there are a few photos with a few surprises!

DT
(and he's brown suit and white shoes)

CT under a nice umbrella

Some strange blond haired people
(there was a suggestion that they could be Thals or Dravhins??)

And is that a Judoon I spy!?!

Indeed! However, Zavros has just mentioned that apparently the Judoon are only back for a flashback that is happening sometime in episode 13.

Thank you very very much to Brigade_leader, Deej, Zavros and Scooty. You are all wonderful people.

  1. If they're still filming the finale, then the SciFi Pulse news report that they're almost done with the holiday specials is probably inaccurate.

  2. Yes, they're undoubtedly inaccurate. They haven't even started filming this years Christmas special yet.

  3. That casts serious doubt on the other claims, which is good. Those changes to Torchwood would be disastrous, though I can see Martha joining in a non-leader capacity. Decreasing to five episodes when filling Doctor Who's slot doesn't even make sense. I also think TPTB like Torchwood's edginess too much to get rid of it.

Carlyle has denied being in talks to play the Eleventh Doctor, and the last reliable news from Tennant is that he hasn't been asked to sign on for Series 5 yet, which makes perfect sense with Series 5 being in 2010.

  5. How lucky to be in the UK, so close to the action. Here in Australia, we’d had all three series, but alas new Who is still a well-kept secret. Most people associate the show with Tom Baker, not-so-special effects and cardboard Daleks. A coworker entered the tearoom the other day, bemoaning the fact that some of her customers simply weren’t human. Before I could curb my tongue, I launched into an enthusiastic dissertation on Slitheen, skin suits, Raxacoricofallapatorius and corruption in high places only to be greeted with slack-jawed, pitying stares. Strange paranoid girl, that Reinette, with her TARDIS key-ring. Poor ignorant souls, never to have experienced the bliss of a crash-bang-wallop, CGI-laden RTD finale! And no one’s even heard of the shiny, new and most aesthetically-pleasing DT!! Have other Aussies noticed this sad lack of acknowledgment of new Whoness? Thanks so much for this website, Jess, it makes my day.

  6. Those carbon copy blondes are intriguing. Thals would be appropriate to the return of Davros, but that looks like Drahvin hair to me. Cool if it is the Drahvins. The Macra have already returned, so why not another oldie? Or they could be Little Red Riding Hood?
    ...
Wonder what the Judoon were up to.

  7. I hope those blondies are Thals. The Drahvins were pretty much 'one-shot' villians.
I'm so looking forward to seeing what Davros looks like. Seeing how that in his last appearance, he was pretty much just a head inside Dalek armor.

  8. Thanks very much for the kind words Blunder and Reinette, I appreciate it!

And yes, I think Thals would make more sense than Drahvin, but knowing RTD is might be something completely different!

  9. More Judoons! Yay!

...and what is this filming for, I thought they already finished filming series 4, or is this for the 2009 specials?

  10. The filming is for the series 4 finale, which they're filming at the moment.

Anything you've heard about them already filming the specials is wrong I'm afraid, they haven't even started filming the 2008 Christmas special yet!

  11. I heard on the DWF that "a non blonde" was an anagram for Donna Noble. Don't know why it needs to be an anagram as we already know that donna is in the finale.

  12. Interesting anagram, though it could be a coincidence like "Master No. Six". Might she be related to the blondes?

  13. how is master no. six a coincidence exactly. I do believe that the name "Mister Saxon was made as a anagram"....

  14. Russell T. Davies stated that it was a coincidence in Radio Times (30 June – 6 July 2007: Doctor Who Watch ) and Doctor Who Magazine (issue 384: Return of the Master).

  15. return of the master that he will say i m the master and you will obey.
