Right. In terms of new stuff from the BBC website, we still don't have a Fear Forcast - that'll be out on Wednesday. But what we DO have is a preview clip of Silence in the Library:

ReplyDeleteIt really is creepy. I don't think I can wait till next Saturday. It's too long. That girl is just weird. The whole library is all in her imagination. That's just wrong. I'm sorry, but that just is too weird. The Doc and Donna are inside a Library that's in a girl's mind. The Moff at his best. Series Five looks like it's going to be good. Night!!
So, it's not that the girl owns the library, it's "My library" becaus she keeps having visions of it.

My guess: The "little girl" isn't a little girl at all. She is the artificial intelligence that runs the library. That's why she can float around it: Those are her remote sensors. It is also why Dr. Moon tells her the real world isn't real. For some reason the AI has created the personna of the girl and the world she lives in as a way to escape reality. (Perhaps because it had some live of self-awareness and was in shock after witnessing all the people in the library get killed.) I'm also very interested in what the Doctor and Donna see after coming through the door: I'm betting it is NOT a little girl but rather some aspect of the computer.
