Davrosness

The internet has gone mad!
Well, not the whole internet, just the small Doctor Who section of the internet where I spend most of my time.

Anyway, to the point, a new picture of Davros has been leaked, and from the thousands of comments and speculation over it, it seems more likely to be genuine than anything else so far.

So where can you see this picture you ask? Well right here

I didn't post the picture directly as methinks some people don't like to be spoiled... but it really does seem like its the real deal!

Meh, nothing too exciting unless you're capable of obsessing over robotic arms.

I just don't understand that Dalek's manipulator arm, I can't see how that's a gun, or how it turns, unless it's really on Davros's panel just showing over the Dalek.

  3. Woohoo, Davros at last, i have to see this is the real deal because of the 2 gun dalek, which was seen in one of the early trailers "There are things waiting in the darkness". If u pause it between 17 and 18 secs u will see it. Bring on Davros.

He looks very similar to The Doctor in Last of the Time Lords

I think that this one actually is authentic because none of the Davros prosthetics ever had that sort of double-chin (if you don't know what I mean, just look above the the CHA in RICHARDWHO.COM), his eye looks like the style used in Genesis of the Daleks and Destiny of the Daleks, the Dalek's manipulator arm matches the one seen in the trailer, the switches on Davros' control panel are blue, and his hand looks like it could be a claw. My only problem believing this is wondering how someone could get a picture of this quality when filming took place on a set and I don't know of any camera phones that take pictures in such a high quality.

If you notice the squint angle along the top of the picture it sort of looks like the a cheap cinema copied film, makes me think it was taken from a tv screen rather than from set.

Background looks a bit like Gallifrey! Who seriously would go to the effort of faking this? Must be real

looks kinda fake to me, forehead looks too high and the blue cybernetic eye seems to be more face on, then the angle should be....

Jess, is this going to go on the Finale/Turn Left/TBA/Journey's End page?

I think he looks like Lazarus

Wow, he looks quite different from what he did in the classic series. Not all that surprising though.

Although I am a bit confused. Wasn't Davros reduced to head on a robotic body? Why does this Davros have a torso?

  14. I don't think he looks much different from the classic series at all. And you're right, he does look a lot like the aged Doctor!

Well, there have been rumors that the BBC have modified and reused an old prosthetic for the finale. Modifying Old Doctor mask for Davros?

hi this is nothing to do with the pic of davros but on the cbox someone *Captain Junaid Harkne$$* has banned me I dont know why can you unban me my name is no one please!

    ReplyDelete
  17. Captain Junaid Harkne$$ couldn't have banned you from the cbox, only I can do that.

And you were not banned unreasonably, you took on several names and were using these aliases in order to be insulting. I know this as all the names had the same IP address.

Sorry to lower the tone, lets get back to Davros!

A fake? Maybe, but it is not the "old Doctor" from the third series. That's a bit of a stretch to see that. Remember, Davros was an old, bald guy as well. Anyway, the BBC has been yanking the image off sites that have posted it, leading me to believe this is the real deal.

  21. i am wondering if this is a deliberate bbc fake?

    ReplyDelete
  22. isnt a good way of the bbc getting their fake accepted, to have sites remove it - have i watched too much x-files, or...
