Freema & Elizabeth

Just another interview thingy in preperation for the finale, theres a preview clip but its almost the same as the one on the BBC site, just with a little extra Gwen at the beginning.

Still... theres some nice talk of the rumored companion death - apparently a Dalek says something about it in the Stolen Earth. Oh, and its not Sarah-Jane

Much thanks to gjwilson, who uploaded it.

I'm still baffled over which companion may die. Martha is coming back for Torchwood. We know Sarah Jane and Rose's mom are in the finale. It could be Rose, or it could be Donna, who we already know will be alive at the end of Journey's End but somehow can't remember what happened to her. Could it be like Last of the Time Lords, with time ultimately reversing itself at the end of journey's end? Is it possible the death could be Gwen? Then again, she hasn't been a companion.

    wow
GMTV is rubbish these days, whats up with the rubbish amatateur spinning round the room, sudden jumping of cameras etc. Has there budget been cut to a £1 a morning?...suppose the budget has been cut that they can no longer charge us for entering non existant competition.

Anyway was that an originial sereis dalek? Well atleast one of the ones that have been made form a billion different parts.

Convinced it'll be Donna but not sure why. Agree with you Rossy - this programme (GMTV I mean) looks unbelievably amateurish and shoddy. The presenter was embarrassing and even seemed to have forgotten his guests names!

GMTV used to be great, with Aimen Homes, anthia turner...whats her name where its rumoured she only got the job cause she was dating/married the head honcho at ITV.
Its all about bbc1 these days!

    But its tomorow, 30hours remaining!

Here's a thought...it could be Romana? Rather than one of the "children of time"?

  8. Well Captain Jack is almost certain to "die" at least once, right? But I'm guessing that isn't the kind of "death" they are talking about.

If it's Donna, I'm sure the death will be undone, or that would negate her entire journey. Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if it was undone whoever it was - but Rose is still prophesied by the Beast to die in battle, and everything else it said was true. (But then again, everything it said about everyone else was, I think, in their past - the Beast may have been attempting to create the future.)

I'm 99% sure romana wont be in any of these episodes! We would have seen it in set reports by now surely and it's based around younger viewers. If she's back then ok but i highly doubt it!

I have a feeling it will be Donna or Rose. ( I hope it isn't Rose) One of my friends said she hope's it's Sarah Jane ( I know it's not) because she doesn't like K9!!!!
How can someone not like K9??

Lol Elisabeth Sladen doesn't look very impressed to be there!

Erm... that's a bit harsh Combom!

But anyway, I reckon it'll be Donna unfortunately. But RTD very rarely kills companions (with the exception of Astrid) so it might not be a literal death. We'll just have to wait and see.

  14. rose will be back, forever :(
    jack is in torchwood s3
    jones will be in torchwood
    mickey too
sarah jane has a new series
    k9 not in it

it doesnt leave many others - perhaps donna signed up for only 1 series anyhow?

  15. why does gmtv have a 1970s dalek?

I'm fairly sure it will be Donna but I highly doubt that it will a perma!death because I really, really don't think that RTD would kill any proper companions. I think he's said that before (although, that really doesn't count for a lot).

If it's Martha though I would cry for YEARS *clings to her* but there are huge rumours about her being in Torchwood so... I really doubt it will be her.

I HIGHLY doubt it would be Rose given RTD's obsession with her but I do think that she's going to back to the AU at the end. I hope so. It does have a tendency to turn into the Ten/Rose Show which.. do not want. At all.

I feel like it will be rose or donna. If it is rose, her history with being the bad wolf and being connected with the Tardis will come into play and I think she will regenerate.

Or it will be donna, and they will take her from the alternate (pete's) world and give her to her family in the regular world, because something might happen to her family in the alternate world.

Jack will obviously die, but digital spy hinted it was a female. It could be martha since I think there's a scene where it seems everyone meets up and martha isn't there.

    hopefully we'll find out tomorrow!

Is there a chance that Russell could be lying again, and misleading us into believing that a companions going to die when, either they are not going to, or they will be revived somehow?

Well, Billie Piper and others also said that it'll be the saddest finale and they promise tears. (Could by lying again, though :)

Although, it could still be very sad even if people survive, like rumor that something happens to Donna's memory and she doesn't remember anything. And Donna did comment sadly how Agatha Christie didn't remember them.

  23. But I LIKE the Ten/Rose show! It satisfies my fangirl side! Though, in all fairness, the relationship between the Doctor and Donna (just mates, thanks!) is really refreshing. I like both.

Seriously, I can understand the fear that focus on the romance without the shagging would result in crap shows... but there were so many fantastic episodes in Season 2. Is it mostly because Doctor Who traditionally doesn't have romance in the TARDIS? Or is it that people just don't like the emotional stuff that comes along with portraying people who love each other?

And yes, even though I do have a fangirl side, I still know how to say, "Down, girl," and judge whether or not it was a good episode regardless of hugs and shtuff. Fear Her had some sweet moments, but it was a weak episode.

I am a bit baffled why somebody would call Rose heartless when the main complaint seems to be that she's all moon-eyed over the Doctor. Wouldn't that indicate she has too MUCH heart (in their eyes)? And jeez, how many people are so disdainful of working class people? Nothing wrong with them. You judge people by how good they are - not how much money they have. It's like people over here calling others white trash and whatnot.
