Digital Spy have posted their verdict on the episode, which gained a massive 9.1 million viewers, according to early figures.

I love The Doctor and everything, and the episode was brilliant, except for one thing that I couldn't help noticing... How the hell did stuff burn on the surface of Mars? Without oxygen?..
