In the latest commentary, Russell T Davies, Julie Gardner and David Tennant talk of some stuff which MAY be of very interesting interest; so interestingly mad that I can't even type at the moment! :D
Russell: ...because long ago the Ood said, "I think your song is sending soon,"
David: Yup,
Russell: They knew, but how do they know? How can Ood be that psychic and that intelligent? How? What's happening? What's going on in the universe?
Julie: You big, big tease.
David: Time is running away with itself somehow.
Russell: You'd think something is bleeding, coming through from the other side. Very strange...
David: We'll have to come back and see what happens there...
What could this mean?! Many have suggested the parallel universe ("the other side")??

ReplyDeleteAfter Waters of Mars, I saw the preview for End of Time and soon had an idea? What if the Ood are the result of the time war? Maybe the Doctor did not kill the Daleks and the Timelords, but maybe their DNA merged to become the Ood?
ReplyDeleteThey look like something you'd get if you crossed the Dalek creature with a Timelord. It could explain the prophetic visions that they have. Maybe the Doctor has been summoned by the main Ood and, after the Doctor's outburst at the end of Waters of Mars, they have revived the Master to keep the Doctor in check? As a consequence?
what if it's the Gallifrey from the parrallel universe seeping through into the normal universe?
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's the Devil like that one person said it would be cause at the end of the End of Time trailer I think you can hear Gabriel Woolf's voice bleeding through the Odd's voice. Plus they play the creepy violin music from the Satan Pit over the trailer.

And in the trailer they also say "something vast is stirring in the Darkness" and the Devil did say that the Darkness was his domain.
Just a thought.
i really doubt the above comment :P i think its more probable, that the ood have a prophecy about the dodctor dieing and also maybe that something weird is going on in the universe(dunno what yet?) and the doctor has to find out what it is and ITS THE MASTER! doing something naughty on earth! :P

heres just a suggestion for a post, we all know a little preview of the end of time is on this friday, but if you check the doctor who site you hear about 10 seconds of the docotr speaking in quite a pleasant tone to someone( perhaps ood sigma or someone)

To be honest i think think that the OOD know way too much for what they are (squids) i think they are/were originally a set of time lords like the cult of skaro for the daleks that have all regenerated into creatures to blend in, the red eye could be the result of another "pure" time-lords presents. they could be so in-bread that now they lack the ability to regenerate.

David also said that his last quarry shoot was on the Ood Sphere and the implication was that he filmed that AFTER WoM! So the Ood Sphere's in The End of Time then!?

In "The Stolen Earth" it was revelaed that Davros was killed in the first year of the Time War when his ship was destroyed at the Gates of Elysium flying into the jaws of the Nightmare Child.
I'm sorry, but the dialog has been driving me crazy. If RTD was any more subtle, he'd be doing brain surgery with a sledge hammer. "Your song is ending." "My song is ending." "Is my song ending?" "I think your song is ending!" "Oh God! My song is ENDING!!!" "I'm not looking forward to my SONG ENDING!!!"
ReplyDeleteI just wish things were a little less spelled out and more "shown". Its enough to have him act as though he's not ready to regenerate, instead of having to say, "BOY! I'm, SURE not looking forward to my SONG ENDING, just in case you were wondering why I was wearing this funny lei and sunglasses!"

ReplyDeleteI don't know what's going to happen... he's clearly exhausted and tired of losing every single person he cares about... I don't think he is losing it but I'm afraid that the only person who's going to be responsible for his regeneration is himself. RTD is a genius, so I cannot wait for End of Time. It will be very hard to watch Ten regenerate, though. Oh well.
I'm soooo excited that maybe we can see K9 and Capt. Jack and Donna and Martha and Davros and the Daleks and the Cybermen and the Sontarians and the Master and the Valeyard and Rose and Donna and Wilf and the Ood and the Dr.'s daughter and the Brigadier all in one spectacular monumental two-part finale.
