Ahem. Well, as you can see by the post below, I'm revamping the 'Gallifrey' section which should be fun! And in terms of other news... all I have for you is this:
- Georgia Moffett (Peter Davison's daughter) is allegedly lines up to be the new companion. Moffett is already appearing later on in series 4 as a "role one will ever forget!"
- Felicity Kendal is also apparently in the top running to be a new companion... they should fight to the death for it! (okay, not the death, just ignore me)
- The Doctor Who Exhibition at the Museum of Science and Industry is finally closing after breaking museum visitor records.
- Billie Piper has expressed fears about returning to the role of Rose - "I am a bit worried about getting back into the groove. I was shocked and saddened the other day when I tried playing Rose Tyler, to myself, in my bathroom - and I couldn't do it. I tried and tried and it had gone - hopefully not for good."
- Oh, and the last remaining Titanic survivor criticized Voyage of the Damned. Millvina Dean, 95, has claimed that the show's producers have displayed insensitivity by featuring the Titanic in the festive episode. "The Titanic was a tragedy which tore so many families apart. I lost my father and he lies on that wreck. I think it is disrespectful to make entertainment of such a tragedy."

With all due respect to Millvina Dean, I think she is overreacting slightly. Doctor Who is not making entertainment out of the real Titanic, it is a spaceship floating high above Earth from the planet Sto. Yes, it has the same name, yes it is a "ship" and yes, there is a crash of a kind, but this is children's (but everyone else watches it too) entertainment. It is not like they thought "Oh, lets make a Doctor Who episode to do with the Titanic to deliberatly cause offence."
Some people need to chill out a bit more...
Anyway rant over! Please check out my blog, I've only just started it but it is worth a read.
It's not like I don't respect her or anything, but why didn't she complain when 9 mentioned the Titanic in Series One? Or any of the other mentions? :/
Also, you haven't heard anything about Elizabeth I turning up in Series Four have you? I can't see them doing it in any other series because if DT does decide to leave at the end of those three specials, then she wouldn't have recognised him as the Doctor in The Shakespeare Code. Unless, of course, they do her story as one of the specials?
I haven't heard anything about Elizabeth turning up yet... they might not base a whole episode around her though, it could just be a little snippet with her in...
Who knows?
That max and The hosts lives in planet Sto.
