According to the Telegraph, there are plans to bring back all the surviving Doctor's for a Children in Need special.
The actors are getting together for the BBC charity Children in Need in a programme to be broadcast on November 14.
An insider at the BBC said: "It's a pretty ambitious idea and it's still being finalised. Everything is being kept under wraps but Doctor Who fans are in for a big treat."
The first of the 10 actors to take the role was William Hartnell in 1963, followed three years later by Patrick Troughton and then by Jon Pertwee but all three have since died.
The seven survivors include Tom Baker, now best known as the voice of the comedy series Little Britain, who played the role for seven years from 1974. He was followed by Peter Davidson from 1981 to 1984, whose daughter Georgia Moffett has also featured in the programme and is now dating David Tennant.
The others are Colin Baker, from 1984 to 1986, Sylvester McCoy who had two stints from 1987 to 1989 and re-appeared in the role in 1996, Paul McGann, who took over the role in 1996 and Christopher Eccleston who reprised the series in 2005.
Full story here and I feel I should point out that theres nothing official about this from the BBC. At the moment it should be filed under rumors and speculation.
Tis madness!

Well this is a big surprise, two of them actually!
First: sylvestermccoy.com was actually right about something! How did that happen?
Second: Eccleston returning is a HUGE surprise given he didn't want anything to do with the show after he left.
Tounge fermly in mouth about this...
Doubtful. This one is definitely false.
sylvestermccoy.com got it right because if you were going to make up a spoiler about the 45th anniversary The Seven Doctors is the most obvious.
I don't think it's false. If they were going to do a Children in Need special, and it was going to be for the show's anniversary, this would be the best thing to do.
Besides, lying about this would just anger the fans of the former Doctors and the BBC would get flooded by letters and complaints about letting such a rumor be published in the newspapers. Unless the BBC flatly denies it, then it is true . . . and even then experience shows that the BBC might be lying by denying it. *sigh* I guess only time, or in this case Time Lords, will tell.
And I know it's a bad, very VERY bad pun, but what you read is what you got.
Well we did see McCoy dressed up in a new version of his Doctor costume in one of the last Confidentials...
I'd love it to be true! Actually I'd love anything to happen for Children in Need, since it seemed like they weren't going to do anything, besides letting lucky winners see the sets.
There is no CIN Special this year. That's why they had the competition to win a visit to Upper Boat instead.
there is a TW/DW crossover this year, JB admits it :)
I cant see CE and TB both appearing though
I can't see Chris Eccleston doing it again unless he changed his mind because the show picked up after that.
Some of you aren't taking this with a big enough pinch of salt, methinks. Come on, there's no way this is going to happen, really.
Well, they all met up before for a charity spesh didn't they? (Dimensions in Time?)
And the Telegraph isn't like the Sun, it doesn't usually make stuff up for a good story.
Although I see your point, its highly unlikely.
But hey, a girl can dream.... :)
My word it would be amazing if this was true - if it is I doubt that it would be a 'special' though. Probably something live on the night, a sketch or something.
I know William hartnell jom pertwee patrick troughton are dead but we need persons to pretend to be hartnell patrick and mr pertwee who played the 1st doctor the 2nd and the 3rd doctor in doctor who show wow But I command the ten doctors instead the the sven doctors because We did had seven doctors ready like Deminatons in time and destiny of the doctors It time for the ten doctors the doctors need their old friends and old enemies featuring the daleks with davros cybermen autons with nestene werewolves macra the master with tolfane sontarans and robot clowns
not sure you can do 7 doctors justice in a short CIN special Demenations in Time showed that.
There was talk about a script (around dementions in time) about the time line slipping and the fourth Doctor having never regenerated. The last 6 Doctors have to put the time line right
this could explain why some people havent aged that well.
it's hard to pass TB off as TB from 1980
it ten doctors not seven doctors because it ten doctors!! so no Questions please because I had to go to bed so good night I email and chat with you buddies
