Filming took place today on the upstairs floor of Tiger Tiger, so as usual there wont be any images from inside (although it was used in the Torchwood episode 'Kiss Kiss Bang Bang')
And who was there? Well according to all the fantastic people who stood outside for hours on end:
- Tennant in his brown suit
- Barrowman in dark blue shirt
- Jimmy Vee as a Graske
- A slitheen
- Monks
- Mysterious women
- Red & white aliens
AND apparently Russel Tovey (Midshipman Frame) was there as well in a black military-style uniform and short hair.

The monks also seem link they're the same ones that were filming inside the caves recently... Time Lordy perhaps?
And the red and white aliens look similar to background characters seen in New Earth (in the hospital) and in Gridlock (in separate cars)
So its all insane! Goodness knows whats going on. Theres speculation that this might be for a scene that was cut from 'The Stolen Earth' where almost all the aliens from New Who where in the Shadow Proclaimation and Midshipman Frame was a soldier for them. It was mentioned in The Writers Tale by RTD and in a commentry DT said he wanted the scene to appear in one of the specials.

yasssssssss, first comment, lol, looks great, well now we know catherine tate, elizabteh sladen and now john barrowman is back for david tennants farewell :( i wonder will billie or freema, we will just have to wait and see, ahhh :O It looks so amazing though! I am trying to come up with an idea in my head about what this fantastic two-parter is going to be about. Im guessing that a powerful evil person is involved( possible the master) and everyone in the universe is goin crazy and coming to earth( or somewhere else) PLEASE SUGGEST YOUR IDEAS'S, WE NEED TO FILL THE TIME BETWEEN NOW AND XMAS!(still excited for water of mars though in november!)

Looking at that woman in the white robes...i know this is very out there and there have only been references to them in A.O.G (Void/The Howling) & in T.S.C (They banished the Carrionites), and with all these aliens coming together, maybe something that bad/controversial has happened that it has caught the attention of The Eternals? Theres a thing on wikipedia about something RTD said in the Doctor Who Annual 2006. Stated that during the Last Great Time War, the Eternals were so affected by the violence and the damage to space and time that they left the mainstream five-dimensional universe completely, never to be seen again...
...or where they?
Look at what they did with the Shadow Proclamation, slight references, then they were finally shown...
Is this a bit too out there to possibly have some truth in it???

Those monks are definitely not "Time Lordy". Look at this extract from the originally scripted Shadow Proclamation scene in The Stolen Earth-

Well, here's my crackpot theory or idea :) based on ... pretty much nothing.
Remember, it was mentioned by RTD that 'Waters of Mars' is going to have some connection to the finale? And there was a scene shot in 'Waters of Mars' where Doctor comes out of the Tardis, looks at something and is completely horrified? Well, what if he sees Gallifrey on the sky (I know, I know written in big, burning letters :) Maybe he recognizes it as his home world?
So, it's the Master (or insert your favorite villain) who undid a Time War and brought it back at the expense of lots of other worlds. And so, all the aliens complain about their worlds disappearing, so Doctor tries to save them, realizes he has to destroy Gallifrey all over again, and there's a RTD favorite 'I-like-to-torture-the-Doctor' heart-wrenching story. Wouldn't put it past RTD. (or maybe it'll be the other way around, Doctor finds a way to bring Gallifrey back, but has to sacrifice himself for that).
Like I said, based on nothing, just bouncing ideas off the wall :)

WHAT makes you so sure that what they are filming is that scene? not saying that they are timelords but seeing as this is a completely different story this might not even be the shadow proclamation.
RTD and DT have said they really wanted to do the scene in one of the specials
that doesnt mean that the scene hasnt been altered?

OK I need clarity please. I thought at the end of planet of the dead the trailer for Waters of Mars indicated THAT would be the next special we will see. But RTD says that is scheduled for "Novemberish". Someone on another post told me that there will be others inbetween now and Waters. So if that is the case then why show a trailer for waters if that isn't the next special?
How many more trailers are left this year? Anyone have a concrete number?
There may be smaller things like the Children in Need Special - and there are now serious reports that David Tennant will be starring in an animated adventure along the lines of "The Infinite Quest".
But there are three more main Specials - "The Waters of Mars" and the two-part finale.

The white character looks remarkably similar to The Watcher in "Logopolis" that followed Tom Bakers final adventure, and then reappeared at the moment of his regeneration into Davison.
