This year's Children in Need Telethon is to feature an exclusive preview of the forthcoming Doctor Who Christmas Special.
The clip, from the Christmas Special entitled The Next Doctor, will show the first two minutes of a brand new episode for the Time Lord, played by David Tennant.
This never seen before footage, is a worldwide exclusive, and will keep fans all over the globe wondering what's in store for the Doctor's next adventure.
Starring David Tennant and David Morrissey, the clip from The Next Doctor will be broadcast as part of the BBC Children in Need show on 14 November, BBC One from 7pm.

we already haver the script, torchwood promised something, 7 doctors rumour, and instead we get this - it blows!
This is a huge disappointment. Who cares about seeing a scene from the Christmas Special? I'd rather wait and see the whole thing at the same time. I was hoping for another mini-episode like the 2005 & 2007 contributions.

Cut DT some slack, folks. He's doing two plays right now, and from what I can tell he's been working pretty much nonstop since season 4 ended, filming the Christimas special, then off to the RSC. He can only do so much at one time.
Honestly, this is better than nothing.
I bet this is part of a scheme to throw people off the truth of a mini episode... or at least I hope it is lol. They let it slip that something was going to be done Doctor Who and this is a way to throw people off.
We didn't get anything in 2006 either; why be so greedy as to demand Doctor Who scenes every year? I'm not disappointed, because I didn't believe a word of the crazy rumours - and they were crazy - that have been circled by liars and fans with delusions of grandeur.
I just thinking david morrisey could not be the 11th docotr that silly thing to do that because david tennant shall staying in dr who show then the ten doctors will be shown in 14th november 2008 on BBC one the 10th doctor better look out the cybershades and the cybermen form mondas and parallel earth he must defeat them before it too late
