Dr Who Tennant 'to stay'
DAVID Tennant is in talks to stay on as Dr Who until 2011, the News of the World can reveal.
The negotiations mark a stunning U-turn for the 37-year-old actor who had planned to walk away from the BBC role after filming four specials next year. But, following pleas from BBC chiefs and fans, Tennant is now considering continuing as the telly timelord.

Ooh, that David Tennant. Always being so secretive about whether he's staying on as the Doctor for series five and beyond. I just wish he'd sign up for series five already and not make the BBC (and us) so worried about the possibility of him leaving.
News Of The World are idiots. The part about him planning to walk away is obviously completely made-up on their part, regardless of whether or not it's true. In fact, this whole story is probably entirely a fabrication. Tennant's in talks, big whup. There'd be talks even if there was no question about him staying on.
if he stays on till at least 2011 xmas he'll have equalled tom baker's record of 7 years as doc who. so if he does 1 more series after that he'll be longest running. can he last 3 more series? we shall see

yeah stay david tennant because you need to stay in doctor who show for specials 2009 series 5 series 6 and Beyond I think you will 39 years old and when series 5is over you regenrate into the new doctor as man not woman because time lords Do not had a sex Change that for person who will play the the 11th doctor when you leaves but the 13th doctor would die but the 13th doctor need to regenrate in the new doctors that doctor who show will contiues but I still don t want david morrisey to become the 11th doctor and that david tennant plays the 10th doctor
As much as I love David Tennant as the Doctor, I want him to do a little work in the states like how Eccelston did Heroes. I don't know, I'm just tired of being the only one over here in America knowing about David's talent.
You're not the only one. And it's dumb to assume he'll become a huge fan favourite if he goes to Hollywood.

No, I don't think Eccelston's popular around here.
But I think Tennant has more talent than Eccleston does, and his popularity from Doctor Who is slowly spilling over into the US. Millions of people over here tuned in to watch Season 4, even before it even reached BBCA. I think that's a pretty good feat for DW.
He also got a little role in Harry Potter, so who knows.

you know what you could be the 11th doctor if someone vote you to be the new doctor at series 5 2010 and beyond will you carry on being the 11th doctor for years in doctor who show.

RTD replace DT OH DEAR*?!!!! because we all sad cry upset mad not happy and shock about David tennant had make his choice to leave dr who show at end of 2009 as new year day early 2010 as new year day.
So if david morrisey like to the 11th doctor in series 5 and beyond he must wait but not in the next doctor
