My father is involved in the special constabulary here in South Wales. That's the voluntary Police force here in the UK for those that don't know. He regularly attends meetings and during one recently, one of the volunteer coppers chatted to him about myself being a DW fan. This lady works for one of the catering agencies used by the production team. She informed Dad that she had been at Tredegar House recently , at the same time as those wonderful set reporters on this site had snapped away. Part of her role that day was to cook and check the temperature of a lot of hamburgers which John Simm had to eat as part of his scenes. She met JS and said he was a top guy.
All the above is true as far as it's been told to me second hand. My Father , although approaching 70 and likely senility , knows not to fib to me in asny aspect of the Whoniverse!

Maybe he just needed to eat one, but they had to do the take lots of times?
If you really look at "those burgers," you'll see that it's really only ONE burger pasted into the photo four times. The lettuce is precisely the same in each, as is the ketchup and bun. It's just one burger. And the bigger burger on the right, which should be in front because of perspective, is actually behind the burger that's further away according to it's size.
Also, in spite of the fries being so large, they're BEHIND the lamp.
Being a graphic artist and an expert with PhotoShop, I can tell you that this was not a photo that was snapped. It was a photo that was assembled.
Someone might have had access to a photo after all the special effects, but I tend to doubt it.
Jo, I hope that was completely sarcasm.
If you knew what you where talking about something like that couldn't be filmed, 'shopped and released in one day.
Anybody with an ounce of sense can look at that in one glance and realise its been 'shopped.

Apparently the master eats a vast quantity of burgers, which makes him fat.
he then gets infected with ADIPOSE, which in turn sprouts from his lardy behind,to help their daddy take over the world!
