The Doctor
Obviously we have no idea of personality other than what we know of Matt Smith, and what we can guess he might put into his Doctor. But we at least know what he'll look like!

And now, thanks to the amazing Alun.vega, we have some idea of how he talks. Here are the first recorded lines we've got of the new Doctor!
Amy Pond
Yup, a new companion. Young and feisty to go with Smithy's Doctor. Again, not much idea about her personality other than she's Scottish, but we have a look for her too!
Well certainly the outside of the TARDIS has changed. With a new shiny paint job and slightly different windows, methinks it looks good.
But its the inside of the TARDIS that really has us all guessing. Rumors are that its getting a revamp, but of course at the moment theres nothing official to back any of it up.
Here's something that was posted on the Digital Spy forums:
The set is on 2 levels, joined by a spiral staircase, but is not as big as I'd thought. We saw the console room, a lab area, a sort of sitting room area, a fairly long section of corridor leading nowhere and numerous other little nooks and crannies. The console room reminds me of a new and shiny version of the old one, except the roundels are very simple and basic looking, simply spherical dents in the walls.
Back to the console room - mainly golds and silvers and the coral theme has been replaced with a smooth marble like finish. Also the room is not circular, it's a kind of hexagon-joined-to-a-square shape, the hexagon bit containing the console, which to me looked like the same console they've used throughout the series except with new buttons and blinky lights, though apparently it's entirely new. Your beloved hatstand was still there but no sign of the interior doors, also there was no ceiling to the set - could be that these bits are meant to be there but were missing from the set for some reason I suppose.
Apparently the whole set has been designed in a modular way, so things can be moved and double as other parts of the ship. The roundels are different colours in each area, gold for the console room, silver/grey/blue in the lab, brown in the sitting room. The roundels can be removed/swapped out or even turned around completely to be convex rather than concave, in order to become a different area.
However, theres no proof of any of this. Though it could be true, it could also just be made up... I guess only time will tell!

and if you have, tell Jess!
If you've seen it, Jess, post it!
Anyone else think the 11th Doctor sounds a bit Colin Baker-ish in that sound-clip ?
yes, he sounds very colinish...
I don't like the new colour of the Tardis, nor do I like the clothes the emo looking douche is wearing. I use to like Moffat, but he has killed Doctor Who, no more regeneration :(

Erm... The TARDIS has always been blue, and
You are TrekGeek and I claim my £5
I was worried but seeing the look of the Tardis and his outfit have renewed my faith the future of the series.
I don't know if it's just me but the thing that plays his voice isn't showing up.

I am afraid you are right we are stuck with Matt Smith for approximately six years (The date they were in talks about him playing for)
Anyway he has the ability to stay as the doctor for 6 years so it will be 2016 before we have the next doctor which will be the 12th doctor then about another 6 years to get to his thirteenth regeneration which will be in 2022 then he will probably be killed off in 2030 at the latest.
We have to face facts they have rushed his regenerations. The ninth doctor lasted only 1 year. The tenth doctor will have lasted only 5 years (Including specials) and the eleventh doctor will have lasted only six years.
In the end the Doctor will be dead after the death of his thirteenth regeneration after that it is the end of Doctor Who forever!!!!
Unless the time lords are back and in return for somehow defeating the master they give him a new life cycle & new tardis! this would wipe the slate for moffat like r.t. davies said he would do??
I am definitely gonna miss the Tennant style, but I think that the whiners should just sit back and let the change happen. What are you going to do, stop watching?
And it would be kind of horrible to stick New Guy into all of Tennant's patented scenery and clothes and
(probably) catchphrases. How do you follow an act like that? Better to just start anew.
I personally love the sound of a TARDIS with more rooms. If there' one thing I really miss about the classic style, it was getting to see how big the TARDIS really was.
Change is good, and inevitable. So, sit back and enjoy!
I am only a kid but loved Dr Who (David Tennant). I hate the new guy, his clothes, floppy hair and the spammed up tardis. I wish David Tennant would come back - I am not going to watch anymore.
Aaaaawwww, boo hoo ! Go away and sulk then ! I take it you didn't know there were 9 other Doctors before David Tennant ?
I remember when Tom baker left the series. I said that I would never watch again. This did not happen. All the naysayers should give Matt a chance. he may be young but he is a brilliant actor. As for the grand moff, he is a lifelong fan os the series and will not destroy it. Give them a chance. if you dont like it after viewing the series then ok, Ill accept the comments but come on!!!!!!!
