The BBC have revealed that Torchwood will be called 'Miracle Day' instead of the previous title, 'The New World.'
The series will be centred around a global problem where nobody is able to die.
"One day, nobody dies. All across the world, nobody dies. And then the next day, and the next, and the next. People keep aging - they get hurt and sick - but they never die. The result: a population boom, overnight. With all the extra people, resources are finite. It's said that in four months' time, the human race will cease to be viable. But this can't be a natural event - someone's got to be behind it."
The series will air on July 1st 2011.

The confirmed July 1st airing has since been retracted by BBC itself (http://gallifreynewsbase.blogspot.com/2011/01/dwn070111203008-torchwood-transmission.html). There is currently no air date listed for the series.
Sounds great. Wish I got STARZ. I'll have to wait for it to show up on NETFLIX.
