Tardis Base launches new magazine!

Planet Gallifrey favourites, Tardis Base, have launched their brand new fanzine online.

The magazine, which can be read here, is spearheaded by Ashley McLoughlin, who previously worked on the popular fanzine Mad Doctor Who Magazine which ran from 2007 - 2010.

After flicking through, I definitely rate this a 5-star effort. The style and layout is stunningly professional and the content is equally as enjoyable.

Don't forget to bombard them with tons of praise!

Viewers escape Torchwood's 'Escape to L.A.'

Viewing figures went below 4 million during yesterday's airing of Torchwood - Miracle Day, a  drop from 4.2 million a week earlier. It did, however, win its timeslot against ITV1's Single Handed (2.7 million) and Sky One's Trollied (1.1 million).

Figures are expected to rise, however, with the iPlayer ratings being counted in the next ten days.

Karen set for comedy debut

Things are certainly looking up for Ms Gillan. After her role on Doctor Who, director and writers alike have fought to get her to star in their works. With Karen's stage debut coming round the corner, she also has something else up her sleeve.

It has been confirmed that she will star opposite Emun Elliott in a new comedy, Not Another Happy Ending. The show, based around a literary fiasco, will see Gillan depart from her role as fiesty Amy, into a new one as a best-selling author who ends up suffering from writer's block.

The show is set for production in 2012.
