Data Ghost

Home Planet: Earth
Life Form: Human echo
Info: Data Ghosts are caused when a person dies and leaves an imprint of their consciousness on a spacesuits neural relay. The imprint can last from 2 minutes to a full day, and can be used to save a digital version of the person if attached to a large enough computer.

The personality of the data ghost reflects that of the deceased, although it seems to be a simplified version. Often becoming stuck on a single idea, and constantly repeating a phrase. The last moments of the data ghost usually ends on a word being repeated over and over again.
Episodes appeared: Silence in the Library, Forest of the Dead

E

The Editor
Home Planet: Unknown
Life Form: Human
Info: The Editor was the mysterious manager of the space station Satellite 5. Little is known about him, except that he managed the operations from Floor 500 and was under the command of the Mighty Jagrafess.

Satellite 5 was very much tyrannized by The Editor, people lived unaware of what lived on the top floor, or the fate of co-workers when they were summoned there. The Editor seemed to only care about himself and his business, wanting to get his hands on the TARDIS in order to gain more power. It is assumed he died when the Jagrafess exploded.
Episodes Appeared: The Long Game

Empty Child
Home Planet: Earth
Life Form: Humanoid
Info: The Empty Child was originally a boy who was killed but then resurrected by nanogenes. Since the nanogenes are designed for simple reconstruction, the child's gas mask became part of his face and he became obsessed with finding his mummy.

Due, once again to the nanogenes, the Empty Child exhibited extraordinary strength and the ability to be psychically connected to other people whom the nanogenes had converted. However, the child-like mind still existed as he would obey commands such as "go to your room".
Episodes appeared: The Empty Child, The Doctor Dances.

F

Family of Blood
Home Planet: Unknown
Life Form: Gaseous (in true form)
Info: The Family of Blood (species unknown) in their gaseous form, can only live for three months, so their whole life is dedicated to trying to expand their life expectancy. They tend to do this by roaming around and trying to take over other life forms.

They seemed somewhat emotionless, the human forms they take tend to have vacant faces and wide, staring eyes. Despite this, they have a strong family bond, having the ability to speak telepathically to each other. They also have acute senses of smell, and are able to sniff out lifespans and unknown enemies.
Episodes appeared: Human nature, The Family of Blood

The Flesh
Home Planet: New Earth
Life Form: Grown flesh in human form
Info: The Flesh were cloned 'lab rats', kept confined in order to be infected with every disease in the galaxy in order to search for cures. They received no sympathy and once their use had run out, they were incinerated.

They were considered mindless and primal, no better than animals. However, they developed speech, conscious thought, and where able to construct an argument. Although they said they understood what had been done to them, and craved human contact from a life of isolation, the moment they touched someone, they too would become diseased. The Doctor managed to cure them however, and named them a new form of human.
Episodes appeared: New Earth

Forest of Cheem
Home Planet: Originated from Earth
Life Form: Bipedal arboreals
Info: Old Earth trees were sold to the Brotherhood from the Panjassic Asteroid field, who experimented on them. After hundreds of years the trees grew arms and started walking. One night, after they heard the Great Calling, the entire race of Trees got on their Barkships and traveled through space for five thousand years.

They neither respect nor understand technology, referring to computers as "metal minds" or "metal machines". They're classified as one of the higher species who were aware of the Time War and its history-changing effects.

The group of Trees seen on Platform One was led by Jabe Ceth Ceth Jafe, and also included Coffa and Lute.
Episodes appeared: End of the World

Miss Foster
Home Planet: Unknown
Life Form: Humanoid/Classabindi?
Info: Her true name being Matron Cofelia of the Five-Straighten, Classabindi Nursery Fleet, Intergalactic Class, she was charged with looking after the Adipose after their breeding planet became unfit for use, using tablets to galvanize human fats into the Adipose, despite it being illegal to use Level 5 planets for such purposes.

After the Adipose babies were adopted, Cofelia was no longer needed and the Adiposian First Family decided to dispose of their accomplice, so as they were transporting her up to the ship, they shut off the tractor beam, and she fell to her death.
