No Jack in finale?
Its not ever been confirmed that Jack is returning for the finale, but here are some reasons that he might not be:

dang it indeed.... forget female companions, the doctor should just travel with jack for a bit! that'd be awesome!
That impossble captain jack appear in series 4 not busy do somehting.
