In a clever bit of casting, sexy Georgia Moffett, 23, will play the Time Lord's girl. She just happens to be the real life daughter of former Doctor Who Peter Davison, 56. A source said "It's an amazing signing."
Show bosses are lining up some sensational storylines for the BBC sci fi show - back this spring. They include a showdown with the Daleks and their evil creator Davros.

Right. There were rumors last year that the Doctor's son was going to appear, so this could all indeed be a big pile of steaming excrement... And Emperor Fabulous on the DWF had this to say about it:

I think Georgia Moffat was allegedly lined up for episode 6... I have no idea where I got that from but there you go...
So when was the Doctors hand stolen?
Well, the Master had the hand for the last episodes of the last series, and I don't remember Jack getting it back, and we haven't seen it in Torchwood so far. The hand is starting to look conspicous by it's absence? John Simm has done 2 weeks worth of filming, who is to say the fate of the Doctor's hand is not invovled? You would think the Doctor would be more careful than to leave hands laying about all over the place!

has anyone noticed that in the trailer the womnan with the sonic screwdriver has red polished nails.
The hand isn't missing at all, in the final scenes between Martha and the Doctor you can clearly see it attached to the TARDIS...
There was never anything to say that the hand was stolen, its a good speculation, but if it were used then the Doctor's DNA would have had to either be taken when the Master had the hand, or at some point in the 4th series.
And John Simm apparently did do some filming last year some point, but it was only for a few weeks and I've heard that it may just be for a flashback... dunno much more about that.
The hand was in the TARDIS at the end of Series 3... But there were zillions of oppritunities that they could have gotten his DNA. Bits of his DNA got mixed into the human-Daleks. In Series 1 when the alien collector scanned him with that wierdo thinger he could have gotten it then.

weeeeeeeellllll!!!!!! this is different! anyway, how come the doctor doesn't KNOW he has a daughter??? wouldn't he, well, know??????? would this make her, like, part-timelord???? and wouldn't he want to know about the MUM??????
If you look at the newspaper extract, you'll see that they seem to be claiming that some of the Doctor's DNA has been taken without him knowing - so he probably wouldn't know.
And if he does have a daughter, then it can be assumed that she will be Gallifreyan, but she wont be part time lord (or time lady) since you have to go the academy to become one.
And if she was created from DNA then there might not be a mother... then again, none of it could be true!
well, the doctor doesn't exactly go around doing that sort of stuff with people - wouldn't he be a little suspicious?
