Filming today took place at Jacob's Antiques, but although it was inside, the intrepid set reporters have still managed to dish out the goods!
First off, there were a few trailer doors, which read:
The Doctor, Amy, Enemy No.2, and... Churchill.
The Doctor, Amy, Enemy No.2, and... Churchill.
Its assumed that Enemy No.2 is referring to the Daleks since they've apparently been code named that before. Plus Nick Briggs (voice of the Daleks) was spotted leaving the building:

And apparently, the scene today included the Doctor, Churchill and Bill Paterson who is playing a professor type person.
There weren't any actual sightings of Churchill (or whoever is playing him) but its still exciting to think about it... WWII, Churchill, Daleks... Oh, I have shivers!
As well as this, two lines were distinctly heard. The first coming from a Dalek, though not really a Dalekesque thing to say:
"WOULD YOU CARE FOR SOME TEA?"
And the second from the Doctor himself, and absolutely amazingly provided for us from Alun.vega (the legend)
Good first lines to hear from Smithy!
A huge HUGE thanks to Alun.vega, Scooty, Chick, and any other noble set reporters. I salute you all!

It's odd how Moffet has admitted that the Daleks are over-used and he wanted to include some new, fresh enemies and one of his first episodes includes Daleks. Just gets you thinking, dont it?!

Typical of Who to blatantly rip off an original idea from Star Trek. The original series already did battle with the Nazis. And we all know they do it better than Dr. Twilight ever will. FACT!
I remember rumors about Albert Finney playing Churchill a while back, hopefully that's true too!
Hey, Jess! I just wrote it, but it's on the back post, just wanted to add it again: so happy to have you back! I was worried that something might have happened, but glad to 'see' that you're fine! :)
Oh bugger, Trekgeek's back. If you'd watched that episode of Trek's original series ("Patterns Of Force") that you mentioned, you'd know that the 'Nazis' were aliens who had changed their culture to reflect that of Nazi Germany. So how exactly is Doctor Who ripping off Star Trek ?
Now go away and salivate over the recycled space battles in Deep Space Nine, learn an imaginary language, stick a cornish pasty to your head, or whatever geeks like you do. Just quit spamming on here as you lose every time and it makes you look like a tw@.
Wow.
Is it me, or does Matt sound stressed (not as the doctor, but as himself)?
Did you see the series 5 trailer because ive looked through and there are two distinct daleks. one is like a dark khaki colour with army gear raped around itand the other is white with a different eye stalk.
As a Who and Star Trek fan I was cringing when I realized that the Doctor was going to "die" in the same way Spock "died" in Wrath of Khan. However, It seemed like it was brushed over slightly as he just absorbed all the radiation. That made the Star Trek fan in me relieved but made the Dr Who fan in me disappointed as they missed a great opportunity for a great ending.
I enjoyed both Christmas episodes and I although I have been a big fan of DT I am glad to see the back of RTD as I think his time was done. Just my opinion though. I respect the fact that other people feel differently.
Bring on the next series. I have high hopes for SM and MS.
Peace out Who fans!
