Alien Armies Competition

Our last competition was very successful, with tens of tens of entries flooding in every day and giving Jess and I even more to do on our already-topped schedules! We were very happy with the winner and you can see Miranda Scruggs' lovely banner on the site for ages to come.

However, in terms of pushing the site forward in its interactivity with the readers, I thought it would a be great idea to have another competition, but with prizes up for grabs! In this case, a healthy collection of the Alien Armies collecting cards.

Prizes

Up for grabs are 49 cards, including a Tenth Doctor - Limited Edition (from the latest Doctor Who Magazine, just in case you missed out), a Sixth Doctor - Foil Card (E6) and four Glitter Foils, including Cassandra (G16), The Doctor (G17), Heavenly Host (G33) and The Face of Boe (G14). On top of this, there are loads more common cards; this competition might be perfect for you if you're looking to expand your collection or just to try it out!

To win these cards, all you have to do is write a short passage on this topic:

What Doctor Who means to me.

Rules & Entry

• The passage must be 170 - 200 words. Any more or any less will not be counted, sorry!
• Your entry must be sent in a .doc, .txt or .rtf file to planetgallifrey@inbox.com using the heading: Alien Armies Competition Entry
• Please leave your name and age at the end of the email.
• Please do not copy and paste your entry into the body of the email as any formatting will not stay once sent.
• (You can also send questions to that address!)
• For this competition, only UK residents may enter. Sorry about this, but it's easier for us to send off stuff within the UK as opposed to outside just incase something goes wrong.
• The passage must take the continuous prose form.
• The competition ends on Sunday 15th November (the Waters of Mars airdate!) and the results will be published soon after.
• All entries will be judged fairly and we do have the right to reject any entries if they fail to comply with the rules :)
• The winner of the competition will be contacted. If you do enter, then you must be willing to give your address so we can send the prizes to you.
• We will publish all the entries on here with the results, too.
