Elisabeth Sladen has unfortunately passed away at the age of 63.
Elisabeth, best known for playing companion Sarah Jane Smith, starred in numerous spin-offs, including the award-winning The Sarah Jane Adventures.
The BBC have confirmed that she had been battling cancer for quite some time.

RIP I'm sure she shined brightly through her character that she portrayed.
I only wish they had made that last episode of SJA a proper goodbye to her.

I can't believe it. I don't think the death of a non-relative has ever affected me so much before. I'm just "....". That's what I feel like saying: "....".

Rip Elizabeth Sladen. I'm from the USA and not evey ones herd of doctor who here but my dad who grew up watching it in the uk started showing it to me when I was 8 and the 9 th doctor was on. As soon as I saw Sarah Jane smith I was awe struck. I'm a girl and she became a women to look up to both as her self and as a character. I wish that it wasn't her time to leave the world and I know that she will be shurly missed. But I know that we must remember her as she was and that will keep her memorie alive. I give my condolences to her family and I will never forget Elizabeth Sladen.
