Trailer: The Decoy Bride

Here is the trailer for David Tennant's next on-screen outing as James Arber in The Decoy Bride. The film will hit cinemas on March 9th with a DVD released on March 12th.

The synopsis reads...

When the wedding of internationally famous film star Lara Tyler (ALICE EVE) to tweedy English author James Arber (DAVID TENNANT) is sabotaged by a paparazzo, they decide to relocate the event to the one place where the world’s press won’t find them: the sleepy Island of Hegg, as featured in James’ bestselling novel The Ornithologists Wife. But to the shock of Lara’s P.A Steve Korbitz (MICHAEL URIE), the reality of the island is different from the romanticised picture James has created (without ever visiting), and he has to transform this fantasy world before the superstar arrives.

However, dilapidated buildings and greedy islanders are the least of the problems that the wedding party and their Hollywood entourage have to deal with, as Marco (FEDERICO CASTELLUCCIO) the ingenious paparazzo tracks them down in his mission to photograph the celebrity wedding of the year.

Steve and his assistant Emma (SALLY PHILLIPS) must find a decoy bride and think that local girl Katie (KELLY MACDONALD) will be an ideal replacement. But when Katie meets James, sparks fly, dresses get ruined and love gets complicated.

Will Katie be able to fool the awaiting media and live up to being a stand-in for the world’s most famous movie star? Can an ordinary girl fill the most famous Manolos on the planet? And whatever will happen to her pledge never, under any circumstances, to fall in love again?

Hey all,
Once again my internet decided to let me down at a particularly exciting time of Whoness... Sorry. I think I've got back on track though, below this post is a report of all the recent filming (with a familiar face!)

And of course, here is the trailer for Planet of the Dead which will be hitting our UK televisions on Saturday 11th April, 6.45pm

Yay!
I'll get some screen grabs up soon :)

A huge huge thanks to everyone who emailed me letting me know about the trailer - I only wish I'd had an internet connection sooner so I could have replied earlier!

Planet of the Dead trailer

A trailer for Planet of the Dead was shown during half time at the rugby at the Millenium Stadium!
I've checked around but it seems no one managed to catch it on video

Still, The Browncoat Cat left us a nice report of what it included:

Various assorted clips of Cardiff and Dubai doubling for London and an Alien Planet and from memory:
  • Shots of Michelle Ryan doing some sort of Mission Impossible break in with wires and a harness
  • UNIT troops shooting at something after Brig. Magambo declares a "Code Red"
  • A steaming burnt corpse appearing in the tunnel
  • The Doctor asking Christina if she was ready
  • A woman saying "we're dead" over and over again
  • Lots of glorious panoramic shots of the desert
  • Christina being pursued by the Police.
  • The Doctor and Christina aboard the bus.
Hopefully this means that the trailer will be appearing on tv soon enough where we can all bask in its gloriousness!
Yay!

Torchwood Trailer & Screencaps

Torchwood: The Children of Earth.

And heres a rundown of whats going on...
I reckon I've got most of the words right, and its a guess on the characters but I think they're right as well. Let me know if you think otherwise :)

Colonel Oduya: As far as we can tell at 8.40 this morning, every single child in the world... stopped.
Clem: They're coming back
Ianto: [In the hub] Right where do we start, what are we looking for?
Lois Habiba: Everyone in the office seems to think that whats happening with the kids is something to do with aliens
Children: WE

Jack: [On phone to Mr Frobisher] Tell me, you said them. Have they come back?
Bridget Spears: Its happened again
Mr Frobisher: Thats what everyone seems to be asking. When were they here before?
Children: WE ARE
Brain Greene: You never told me. I was never part of it.
Clem: They were there. In the sky.
Children: WE ARE COMING
Mr Frobisher: I need that whole team out of the way by tonight. Get it done.
BANG!
Johnson: Target ones eliminated, two and three have escaped but were in pursuit.
RUN IANTO!
Mr Frobisher: If he talks were in deep, deep shit.
Rhiannon Evans: (Ianto's sister!) What kind of civil servants are you?
Ianto: Unappreciated ones
Then shots of:
Jack!
Clem running!
Stair explorers!
Rhys and fire!
Gwen shooting guns while leaping out of an ambulance!
A mother smacking a soldier in the face with a paving slab!
The team running (Rupesh is at the back)
Clem pointing!
Janto!
A horribly burned man chained to the wall and screaming!
Johnson looking sinister!
Gwen shooting!
Jack being Jack-like! (Outside the Hub)
The horribly burned man being covered in goo!
Ianto looking intense!
Gwen running!
Mr Frobisher being blinded by light!
A horribly dead skeleton!
Jack looking intense!
Clem: They're back
Goo!
The end!

My guess is horribly dead skeleton becomes horribly burned man who becomes Jack who was in the explosion :)
