But we've at least been given something thanks to the fantastic people at OG!
Thurs 1st Oct
Filming took place in a village called Rhymney, in the cemetry of the old vicarage. Not much could be seen but they filmed a scene with Karen at night.
Friday 2nd Oct
There was crew setting up at Cathedral Green today. A big pond was created in the centre and Newspaper signs indicate its set in the 1990s, and apparently in a place called Leadworth.

A huge thanks to GSSWales, baraduim, Scooty, Lucky Lady and anyone else who has braved the world of set reporting :)

Rhymney's not a village! It's a scabby suburb!!
As you can probably guess I live in Cardiff - just up the road from Llandaf Cathedral where they are currently filming (it's the same place they filmed the Remembrance Day memorial scene at the end of 'The Family of Blood').
Hmmm...I guess this is set after Karen became a companion.
But why the hell is it set in the 1990s? What's so special about those times?
It's set (mostly) in the present - but Amy is a child for at least the beginning of the story, so that's why the 90s
To the snob that lives just up the road from Llandaf cathedral!!!! Rhymney is not a scabby suburb as you so politely put it. They are back at the vicarage (which just happens to be a lovely old listed building) to carry on the filming today & to put the record straight there is no cemetary in the vicarage either!!!
Suburb of what? I assume your ignorance leads to the fact that you think it's Rumney,Cardiff and not the town of RHymney in the valleys, as to which, Rumney (Cardiff) was named after?!
Rhymney is located at the top of the Rhymney Valley 25 miles north of Cardiff.
The vicarage does not have a cemetary only a small garden.
I was there yesterday installing a satellite dish for the owner and its currently being renovated but the inside of the house still has the blue wall paper the props team put up.
Drive into Rhymney and in the middle there is a garage, opposite is the vicarage, not hard to miss.
Regards
