As revealed at 8am today, the brand new logo for Series 5...

New Logo for the New Series!

The "DW" bit is the insignia and the actual words are the logo. Cool, huh?

Have to admit the whole"DW"-as-police box is pretty badass. No one beats the Moff! I think Season 5 is going to be more like the move from Letts to Hinchliff, but with all the technical advance that JNT added. It will be awesome!

Wow, ya that IS nice. I'm a graphic designer and that there is a shiny logo. Looks more like it should have come before series 1-4 logo, you know? It looks very much like an improved classic series logo.
But so far that's the only thing i like about the new series. I'm just a bit depressed that's all. It'll grow on me i'm sure.
The fact that River's coming back is keeping me hopeful.. ^_^

I'm not crazy about it. But then again I still prefer the neon light style logo from the 60's and 70's. It's just a minor change and won't make or brake my love for the show.

I like it, it's a bit more retro!

^ Is right about the who police box DW thing, it works nicely.

But, I'm not really sure if logo is cool or not...

The 'DW' logo is great. Its instantly recognisable and could become a great new trademark for the show. And I love the return of the retro look 'Doctor Who'. Blue is a nice change too.

In short - Its great!!!

I hate it. I think they're changing too much, i can understand the TARDIS being changed and there being a completely new doctor and new assistant, but why change the logo as well? It looks like they're trying to hard to back to the classic series! What will they change next? the opening titles? They need to keep some sort of continuity to it, otherwise it's just like another revival all over again.

Didn't think I'd like it at first, but seeing it now, I think its looks great, and evolution is what this shows all about, it wouldn't be doctor who without change.

I'm sure it will continue to be a fun show that knows how to reinvent itself, while retaining its wit and charm.
