Doctor Who Filming, 13.04.09

Filming went on in Swansea today. With more Noble joy!

Scene ??
Filming inside the bank, which was re-dressed as the "London Credit Bank"

David Tennant and Bernard Cribbins were seen, along with the Sparrow Lane OAP bus. It looks like they're investigating the bank.

But whats the bus got to do with it? A fun day out for the OAPs with the Doctor turning up, or maybe the Doctor went off to do something and Wilf decided to follow him.

Bah, something along those lines.

Scene ??
A street which was dressed with Christmas decorations. Donna is walking about, looks like she's just been shopping.

A traffic warden tries to give Donna's car a ticket and she says something along the lines of "don't you touch that car!"

Now theres a photo of Wilf leaning into what looks like Donna's car.. but that might have been between takes... so maybe Wilf is actually with Donna and then catches sight of the Doctor?

Either way an actor called Karl Collins was there and it almost looked as though he was Donna's new partner... perhaps the one shes getting married to?

I just had a random thought which goes along the lines of Donna keeps cropping up in the background while the Doctor is trying to save the universe or whatever - kinda like Partners in Crime... like their lives are still intertwined.

Of course I could be way off. Lets hope Donna plays more of a part than just being there in the background!

Doctor Who Filming, 09.04.09

Good God, how may weddings can you have?!
Filming yesterday was at Marshfield church and guess who the bride was?

Wonder who she's marrying this time... apparently it may be a black actor, but this is unconfirmed. Either way, its definitely not a flashback since its a different dress.

The first scene filmed was of Donna running into the church, and the second seemed to be after the wedding where the guests were having photos taken of them.

As well as this, the TARDIS was hanging around and Tennant was also seen coming out of it. So I guess he's crashing the wedding.

WILF!
Is that the Doctor in the corner there?

Doctor Who Filming, 07.04.09

Woop! More filming at the Nobles house today :)
It was ongoing, but it seems to have finished now (or they're filming inside)

The first scene filmed was the Doctor, Wilf and Sylvia leaving out of the back of the house. Presumably just before they get into the TARDIS.

Here's a video of it courtesy of Ahremsee

Lots of extras then turned up and a scene was filmed with them running around in panic, screaming, while Sylvia looks up into the sky. The direction from the walkie talkie was "Look into the sky, theres a red ball of flame. Your scared, more scared!!!!!! Its all gone grey." During this one guy (Carl?) shouts "Donna!".
Apparently this may be scene 139

Another video courtesy of Ahremsee

In another scene there was a big close up on Sylvia. The camera pans down and she's looking half-happy, half-tearful. The extras in the background are now hugging. This may be scene 147

And finally there was a scene with Sylvia and an unknown black guy (not Joshua from last week) are standing in the middle of the road and looking up to the upstairs windows of the house.

Doctor Who Filming, 06.04.09

First day of filming at Nant-Fawr Road (aka the Nobles house) and OMGness guess who was on set?!

Waaaaa!!

Right... seems there were a few random Wilf/Doctor scenes that I can't really work out an order to, but I'll do my best. First off we've got a short one with Wilf walking towards the TARDIS wearing some reindeer antlers:

Next there's a scene with Wilf sitting dejected on his doorstep. The Doctor appears from the TARDIS, throws a stone at him to get his attention, and he comes over.

Wilf says "You can't park that (TARDIS) there, Donna will see it!"

The Doctor says something like "I lost him."
He asks if Wilf has seen anything unusual, something to do with his life.
Wilf replies that Donna had a bit of a funny turn when she saw the Book.

Now this book they're talking about is called Fighting the Future and is by Joshua Naismith, who we've seen in the Tredegar House filming (the one who fell to his knees)

At some point in this scene there was apparently some 'sonic action' as well.

There was also a few scenes where Wilf accuses the Doctor of "being a chicken". It seems the Doctor was afraid of something or someone... Wilf was also apparently on a military radio talking to UNIT as though he was on an operation.

Bit more Dialogue and they both get in the Tardis. The doc doesn't want Wilf to go but Wilf says "I'm not staying here with her!" indicating towards Sylvia. He then gets in the TARDIS.

As he gets in the TARDIS, Sylvia follows the Doctor into the middle of the road, shouting at him to 'bring him back! Bring my father back!'

After shouting at the TARDIS until it disappears in a flurry of leaves, Sylvia turns to look back at the house just as Donna appears in the driveway. She doesn't appear to have seen the TARDIS or the Doctor and all she says is "Are you shouting at thin air again Mother?"

And heres a fantastic video of this scene captured by Prot

Later on, there were more scenes filmed with Wilf and the Doctor running into, and coming out of the TARDIS. There was mention of the Doctor possibly wearing a different tie in some scenes so perhaps he and Wilf went off to find something out, and then returned?

The last scene shot was of Wilf and the Doctor outside the TARDIS, in the rain. Just before leaving, the doctor says to Wilf something like "This is not the end, we will meet again." and Wilf asks him where hes going.

The Doctor's reply was very quiet, so theres no garuntee that this is what he said, but apparently it sounded like: "I am off to have my revenge".

The Doctor then leaves in the TARDIS.

As well as this, theres apparently a character called Davis (or Davies) who will be appearing in the specials... hes in his 20's and looks very sinister. Seems like he's working for the bad guy and is happy with it.

Oh, and for those who are still debating the Master return, and think the picture is of one of the crew... hopefully this will help clear it up:
