If, while on the Doctor Who homepage, you change your computer clock to a date after Silence the Library will air (or even just a few days before), then the book thats part of the picture will flips a few pages forward and briefly reveals this:

EDIT: I forgot to mention previously and it might have caused a bit of confusion (sorry!) but it doesn't stay on this image. Usually the book flips to a page saying "2 Days to go" or something similar. The Rose image can only be seen very briefly.
So, does that suggest that the insane rumor I heard could be true? Will Donna burn the Doctor's book and the last page having a picture of Rose on it? Or will we just see a glimpse of Rose in a random book?

Wow, first the trailer, now this. They're really hitting up the Rose angle heavily this week. Makes you wonder, eh?
That's really cool. In fairness, she is returning "properly" in 3 episodes time.. is it 3? Think it was 3...

Hm, but it is interesting... there was a picture of Rose in the 'Journal of impossible things', although slightly smudged, not quite this one. It could be that they'll just show a page from 'Journal' with Rose's picture, but Donna and Doctor won't notice it, like previous times. It could be a Bad Wolf reoccuring here and there.
I think it'd be more interesting if they found her picture in some other book and that could tell the Doctor that she's returning.
Also, S Moffat said that he likes not knowing what happens in the finale and having his stories kind of stand alone, so it could be that it'll just be her picture on a random page that only we'll get to see it.

What I mean is that they suddenly have a lot of Rose stuff going on, so I was wondering if something's going to happen even earlier than we thought.
i cant get this to work, tried on 2 pcs, defiantly changed the date forward 2 weeks, then one month. have the bbc stopped it working? am i doing it at the wrong place?

To see the pic... change the time while the Doctor Who main page is loaded and you're looking at it (otherwise you'll miss it).
Hmmm... I've tried it on 2 different computers and it worked both times for me.
Maybe if you just change the date to a few days before the episode? Oh, and make sure you're already on the homepage at the time you change it.
If that doesn't work then I have no idea!
It seems a bit wonky. If I set the date ahead, I catch a glimpse of the Rose drawing, but then it changes to "2 days to go." I'm thinking they tweaked the code to not show the last page, and will untweak it after the show airs.

N.T - I don't know where I heard the rumor but I can't really see a reason for Donna to burn the Doctor's book unless she had to to save his life or some such thing. It probably wont happen

Try changing the date so its still in May - sometimes it doesn't work if you change it to a different month.
It works for me on any date.
What if Donna were to read Rose's book? I'm probably not the first to suggest this, but if this easter egg has anything to do with the actual episode, it could just as well be Rose's book (and not the Doctor's).

I hope Donna doesn't burn the Doctor's book. The prospect of that just depresses me beyond measure. And I hope the Journal of Impossible Things makes a reappearance (and stays unburned!) because I looooove it. :)
It gives you a quick glimpse of Rose each time it flips a page. So I imagine if you are on the website at midnight when the day changes it'll work for you on it's own?

Ah, I just read your version of the possible synopsis, and everything makes sense now. Does it feel strange that this season has been dealing a lot with telling the future? The other story archs were just words, but now we've got fortune tellers and books that hint about one's future (and it's in a parallel world?? I thought that wasn't possible for the Doctor! how exciting)

I don't think so. I think that one was a little rougher and *sexier*. This one just looks like it is a real picture that was 'computerized' into a sketch.
