Torchwood: Children of Earth preview

Hooray! Torchwood :)

A 60-second preview of the new series of Torchwood will premiere simultaneously in the UK and US this Thursday. The third series, Torchwood: Children Of Earth, will air over five consecutive nights on BBC One this Spring.

The trailer will be shown at 4pm ET on Thursday at New York ComicCon 2009, where star Eve Myles and director Euros Lyn are due to participate in a panel session. At the same time - 9pm GMT - the preview will be made available on the Torchwood website at bbc.co.uk/torchwood.

Series producer Peter Bennett previously told Digital Spy that Children Of Earth would be an "epic" tale, with a "dilemma about a subject that's going to affect all the children of Earth".

i know this is going to sound like a really boring plot starter but i ust thought....
when we 1st meet jack in torchwood he tastes the air and says "estrogen, you humans are making yourself infertile" (or something like that), could it be some alien or something doing this, hoping to weaken the human race so the numbers arent as large?

as said really boring idea.

I dont remember that bit... when was that?!

When Jack and co first arrive on the scene in the very 1st episode when it was chucking it down.

I remember it, from episode 1! I think he also added something like: "Estrogen in the air! Got to love this planet!"

Is there any chance that we might see a trailer posted here? For those unfortunate of us, who won't be in New York and can't access Torchwood website from overseas? Pretty please? :)

Of course :)
I'll get it up here as soon as I can find it. It'll appear on the web in no time.

I've been heard Torchwood had been delayed to this summer(to June or July). But the article says "this spring"...
I'm bit confused. Is there no delay?

Yes! *does happy dance* We've been waiting a year for this... if they delay it to June/July I am going to be soooooooo mad! That'll be a year and a half... way too long!

Sorry for this, but I read somewhere that Lucy Cohu from the Queen's Sister is going to be playing Captain Jack's daughter in Children of Earth.

Please don't hurt me.

A) The estrogen thing was a typical Jack line that insults and compliments Earth at the same time. We're polluting the planet in really unique ways (estrogen gets in the system from all that birth control)

B) Yes, the air dates are put off to June. I can't find the darn article right now, but I'm almost certain it was noted in Torchwood Magazine. Last week in June, with simultaneous air dates for UK and US.

C) Lucy Cohu plays Alice. Most of her scenes are with JB. She never has a scene with the 456. She's not close to her father, she has a son named Steven. (It's all in her interview in the last issue of the magazine)
