Series 4 news

RTD: There's is a slight continuous strand that I've got in mind for Series 4. In Fact, it's mentioned fleetingly in the last couple of episodes of Series 3, tucked away in the way that Saxon was (In Series 2). But I'm Not going to tell you what it is. It was something that The Master Said.......


DWM: What Stories cna we look forward to in Series 4 of Doctor Who?
RTD: We've the same pattern of some present day stories, some futuristic, and some historicals. The Ood are coming back, There's a lot that we don't know about the Ood. It's Nice to bring back an old monster that's actually one of our new monsters. Also, we've a couple of monsters from the old days.....


DWM: What about the rumours that Russell himself might b departing after Series 4?"
RTD: We're commissioning a year at a time, and I'm absolutely commissioned for Series 4. There are even conversations about a xmas special for 2008, plans are underway, so we're very happy. But I can't answer this definitively, because none of us knows exactly what will happen after Series 4

Also -
- Gareth Roberts (The Shakespeare Code) will write a Historical S4 ep.
- Geoff and Sylvia Noble also return in S4.
- One S4 ep will have its own production block for special reasons which will soon become clear, but its too early to be given away yet!
