"The single best piece of family-orientated entertainment the BBC has broadcast in its entire history"

Can't really argue with that!

That's fantastic! Just one question though - did someone make this for you, or was it on another site? (only wondering ^_^)

it's a 'retail' banner ad.

Hah, and I was about to answer but you beat me to it!

I probably should have said it in the post...

Jess, just to say I don't have a god pile... But if I did there'd only be one. The person who spends their own time compiling this information for the rest of us who are too lazy to seek it ourselves! A squillion thanks to you!

Paul, you are very much welcome! I am honored to be a part of your non-existent but suggested God pile!

That's awesome :D By the way, I got something from another site: "Meanwhile, here's a completely dodgy rumor: Season four ends with the Doctor splitting into two people (which is why some filming pics showed the Doctor on that beach where he said goodbye to Rose, wearing two different suits.) And one Doctor goes back to the alternate universe (the one with all the zeppelins) with Rose, to save it from something or other. The other Doctor stays in our universe — and then has a botched regeneration, where he swaps bodies with the Master."

Yes... I've heard lost of rumors and things about botched regenerations/bodyswapping/2 Doctors etc etc

I don't really know what to make of it, so I've just left it to everyones imagination really.

I suppose that if that's true (the two Doctors thing, where one goes into Rose's universe), it always gives DT an opportunity to return if he decides to regenerate, since he loves the show so much. Then again... it might just be (and probably is) a completely false rumour 8P

That's what I was thinking. Botched regeneration allows John Simm to play the part (assuming he's The Doctor looking like THe Master or something, who knows) in the 2009 specials.

TD returns in 2010 when a new series kicks in proper.

The rumours of him leaving at the end of this series are both true and false - hence the confusion :)

We shall see.

john simm said he wouldnt want to be in a long running series because he would be too tied down

Yes, I realise that, but he does do stuff of quality - like Life on Mars.

So, a single year of 3 specials possibly isn't out of the question.

Rampant speculation anyway.

John simm better not give up to play the Master ib 2009 specials Anonymous.

Have you ever considered about including a little bit more than just
your articles? I mean, what you say is fundamental and everything.
But just imagine if you added some great photos or video clips to give your posts
more, "pop"! Your content is excellent but with images and
videos, this site could certainly be one of the most beneficial in its field.
Awesome blog!
