Planet Gallifrey: Double-take

Double-take

I do love The Doctor's Trainers.. he is like a god.. (I seem to have a lot of them don't I?) Ah well! He's just turned up and said this:

Davros has a nice metal claw and the guy who posted about the tunic - spot on

Word has reached my ears that the series 4 major villain is something of a red herring. Simm's that behind Davros in the Finale there is a very familiar foe of the Doctor who is in fact calling all the shots.....

Awesome v faithful classic series style Davros and botched regenerations with poss. character split/swap

And, if you'll excuse me for a moment...
AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Right... As always, I have no idea if this is correct, but if, if, IF its right...
  • Well, the Masters back for starters.

  • Someone (or more than 1 person) will change (regenerate?) be it the Doctor, the Master, Davros, Harriet Jones etc

  • The Doctor and the Master could actually swap bodies as I've heard in some rumors.

Sorry, I'm from the US . . . trainers are like shoes, right? like keds or nike or puma?

Thanks for the updates. I'm so excited about the new season!! It sounds great! I only wish I didn't have to perform acts that may be slightly illegal to get the shows on time! Though, there was a free podcast through itunes and the BBC where I watched the First and Second season. Think they might keep that up?

isn't the big bad calling the shots going to be harriet jones as a red supreme dalek?

tipdykw: Yep, trainers are like sneakers. And the series 4 episodes will be available on PlanetGallifreyTV if you want to watch them there... I think there probably will be a podcast, though I couldn't really say.

And from what I've heard, the Supreme Dalek would follow the orders of Davros, since he created them...

"Simm's"? Are you sure that's not "Seems"?

I know David has a bit of an accent, but still.. xD

A clever pun, perhaps?

Ah yes... it Simm's that there was a spelling mistake there. Heh heh heh

I thought RTD said the Master wouldn't be back for series 4 :o

He also said that Rose would never be back.

Davros has a nice metal claw and the guy who posted about the tunic - spot on.--> O-o!

Awesome v faithful classic series style Davros and botched regenerations with poss. character split/swap. --> v?

Someone (or more than 1 person) will change (regenerate?) be it the Doctor, the Master, Davros, Harriet Jones, etc. --> I was like Harriet Jones? I was like who? *asks friend* *friend says maybe is the prime minister* *I google it* *Wiki link* Oh!

brilliant website by the way!

I was thinking Harriet Jones might be the big bad (with her apparently becoming a red supreme dalek and the 'red' herring reference) but as simms is mentioned there that does imply the master might be back.

The drums will turn out to be davros and the daleks me thinks. Series 4 is gonna be awesome!

the rani coming back? maybe lucy saxon regenerates the master or herself?

The regeneration could be a McGann flashback too!

Also I thought you may like to know that I have uploaded 4 new promo pix onto my blog.

Aye, I saw the pictures and had them up myself, but I was warned that I may get into trouble since they're not officially released until 1st. I have no idea how you got them!

Cameron McEwan said...

They seemed to have spread rather quickly.

I s'pose they could ask you (and me) to take them down but they probably don't have the time fending off all the complaints about the 6.20pm start!

Jess said...

well, I've put them up again anyway but your right, theres not much they can do other than ask us to remove them.

Oh, and I love you blog by the way.. I found it from one of your posts on DWF - its award winning for a reason!

i do not think that the word after herring is a spelling mistake, just very very clever and I am very proud of seeing it on the first read before seeing the other comments...

Try putting John after HERRING and then it makes more sense...

I think the BEEB only care about the info that goes along with an 'Embargo'. The pics don't really give anything away so they don't seem to be bothered.

Thank you very much for your kind words about my blog. It's getting a lot of traffic today due to WHO!

The last post I edited to include two new episode titles (in case you didn't already see them) revealed today.

About the time slot--Not that I care terribly much . . . but I was under the impression that Doctor Who was pretty popular show in the UK. However, in the US, Saturday night is when the networks usually dump their not-so-great television, because less people watch that night here. I've never quite understood how the BBC is different from our networks, but I'm curious. Is Saturday a prime TV watching night in the UK?

wat did the guy who posted about the tunic say and were did they get this info from?

Jess said...

Some pictures of what was said to be Davros' tunic were leaked onto the web. They were quickly taken down again but it was the first true hint that Davros may be back.

was it a picture? if it was do u have dem and what do they look like?

Jess said...

Aye there were some pictures. I never got my hands on them myself but they weren't that special. Just a black tunic/jacket thing with a clasp on the left shoulder (like the classic Davros had)
