Okay, so heres a NEW preview clip! One which definitely deserves an "eep!"
DigitalSpy has stepped up its game to, and given away some hints. As always, 2 of them are red herrings.
There is a Jeffrey Archer continent in the library.
Donna tells The Doctor that she "likes a bit of Hank Marvin" when he warns her about the shadows.
Data Ghosts are footprints on the beach - and the tide is coming in.
The Doctor rants against reading spoilers (irony noted!)
There are two sonic screwdrivers featured in this episode - and neither is any good at dealing with wood.
Psychic paper is used to contact The Doctor, in combination with a kiss (but not from Donna).
Donna flicks through a biography of Harriet Jones, but has to run away before she reaches the final chapter (although viewers see its shocking title, unlike Donna).
A figure from The Doctor's future makes an appearance.
A Dalek's eye stalk is brought up by The Doctor out of nowhere.
Theres also these quotes
"The library goes on forever."
"Isn't travelling with you one big spoiler?"
"Run, for God's sake run. ******e is safe."
"4022 *****. No s***i****."
"That was the most horrible thing I've ever seen."

So it appears that the Daily Mirror could be right...
well, I will say they keep us on our toes. Rats.
What I find to be weird, is that the Doctor gets called 'sweetie' :s
I think the only person whose ever called him that is jackie while kissing him.
...
42 mm
I don't think the Harriet Jones one is true, why would Donna look up hers, out of alllll the people in the universe?
13 min - Amy has a new friend. The boys have two - but which is which?(the two daves?)
15 min - Harry silently mouths some unfamiliar words to himself.(vashta nerada?)
8 min - The lights are going out! "Uh oh!" says Harry. Something new about the Sonic Screwdriver! ( it can turn lights back on?)
something big must happen at the end cus the fear forecast only goes as far as 40 minutes
I bet Donna will find out River is evil! She's manipulating everybody's dreams (including the little girl's). She's the "black widow" from the filming pictures!!!
But Donna will wake up and save the day!!!
(Because she's Super!temp! and as the president of all Doctor/Rose fans, she couldn't stand the idea of the Doctor having a wife that is not Rose... LOOOOLLLLLL!!!)
Wow...River Song's voice scares me...
And why 'sweetie'? Maybe they have pet nicknames for each other. Lol.
Wow. I can't wait !
It has got to be a gooden as it's written by Steven Moffat. :D
Thanks Jess for posting this :D
I have a few thoughts on what these might be :)
Donna flicks through a biography of Harriet Jones, but has to run away before she reaches the final chapter (although viewers see its shocking title, unlike Donna).
- Maybe it's something about her becoming Davros (Which is a rumour, thats becoming more well-known)
"Run, for God's sake run. ******e is safe." (NOONE?)
"The real world is a lie and your ********** are real." (NIGHTMARES) - It was of the series 4 mid season trailer.
:D I am really, really excited about this episode now, I cannot wait!
SunnyTyler001, that's a good theory ! :)
The episode probably has something like that to do with it.
Also in the series 4 mid trailer, Donna says: "Just stop it! why are you doing this?" And I think that's from the episode this week/or next. Because Donna's wearing the same clothes from the trailer for this episode. (I think)
Oh wait, I forgot about the episode Midnight. (Duhh) I was thinking most of the stuff on the trailer must be in this weeks eppy. And then I thought of Midnight.
I'm just rambling now, :)
I also thought,
25 min - "Not good," says Harry and the kids prepare themselves for the worst... "Don't! You'll die!" yells Samuel.
- Maybe the Doctor goes into the dark, to try and conquer it. And ends up having something happening to him like in 42 when he was posessed by the sun, but didn't regenerate.
The rumour isn't that Harriet Jones becomes Davros, the theory is that she becomes a red Dalek and/or "the mother of all Daleks." Fortunately, while the latter sounds incredibly stupid, I imagine the execution would be considerably better.
All those spoilers sound quite likely, and some of them we know are true. No complaints (except that Saturday feels like ages away).
sorry to take everything off course, but this is the latest post:
see when the tardis is lost/the dr cant get to it? Why doesnt he just use the key? Like in that episode where Rose saves her dad?
*facepalm* Oy... well, here's hoping it's nothing more than a "Hey, you and I had a fling once. Yeah it was nice. Yeah I know you don't know me yet. We had fun...moving on! Got monsters to defeat!"
Though, like I think someone mentioned, it certainly puts a new twist in the whole "Your song must end soon" comment by Ood Sigma. Hmmmmm...
Gabz - That's me. I was so stupid and I will never do it again. Can you unban me? Please, i swear I will never spam again!

Just a random comment, but could the 'something new about the sonic screwdriver' be from the clip from the mid season trailer, when the Doctor is swimming through the time vortex using his sonic screwdriver? I am probably wrong, but just a thought!
Hm, so if River Song is in Doctor's future and she recognizes him and claims they've been on many adventures together, that means current Doctor 10, does that imply that David Tennant will stay and we'll get to see those adventures? I hope it's the case.
Of course, with timey-wimey they can always create some paradox (and seems quite likely in this episode) to change things.
"does that imply that David Tennant will stay and we'll get to see those adventures? I hope it's the case."
Not necessarily. Seeing as the doctor is many hundreds of years old I think it's safe to say that we only see a small fraction of each of his regenerations.
"Donna flicks through a biography of Harriet Jones, but has to run away before she reaches the final chapter (although viewers see its shocking title, unlike Donna)."
Pretty sure this is a red herring.
"A Dalek's eye stalk is brought up by The Doctor out of nowhere."
Uhhh.
"13 min - Amy has a new friend. The boys have two - but which is which?"
They're probably talking about Proper Dave and Other Dave.
Well, everything that's come up about this episode has me absolutely baffled, so I'm pretty sure I'll screw these up. Oh well, I'll give it a shot anyway.
>>There is a Jeffrey Archer continent in the library.<<
Maybe?
>>Donna tells The Doctor that she "likes a bit of Hank Marvin" when he warns her about the shadows.<<
Huh?? I'll say no, just because it makes no flippin' sense.
>>Data Ghosts are footprints on the beach - and the tide is coming in.<<
Sounds like an interesting explanation of it. I'll go with yes, that'll be said.
>>The Doctor rants against reading spoilers (irony noted!)<<
I can somehow see this, and see Donna making a snappy retort, considering he takes people to see their own future.
>>There are two sonic screwdrivers featured in this episode - and neither is any good at dealing with wood.<<
Oh probably.
>>Psychic paper is used to contact The Doctor, in combination with a kiss (but not from Donna).<<
*sigh* Yeah, probably.
>>Donna flicks through a biography of Harriet Jones, but has to run away before she reaches the final chapter (although viewers see its shocking title, unlike Donna).<<
Might be, but please don't let this be a confirmation of the bizarre theory some have had that Harriet becomes a Dalek or is in league with Davros in some way. >.<
>>A figure from The Doctor's future makes an appearance.<<
Yeah probably.
>>A Dalek's eye stalk is brought up by The Doctor out of nowhere.<<
Doubt it.
Well, I came up with a theory yesterday, and judging by the sinister way River Song said, "Hello, Sweetie," I'm sticking with it. This River Song is supposedly the woman who found the Doctor's book, right? What if she rewrote it, including herself in it as his love interest, and eliminating Rose? It's diabolical and clever, like a Moffat script, and most importantly, it keeps the Rose/Doctor ship afloat! ahem.
BTW, anyone else notice that the name "Rose" can be found in River Song's name? I'm sure that's just a coincidence, though I do think the creators seem to have Rose on the brain alot, lol. I mean, they're using the name "Rosita" in the Christmas special.
To me, River calling the Doctor "sweetheart" is far scarier than anything moffat has written.
I'm thinking the eyestalk and the book on Harriet Jones are the red herrings this week. I don't see how the eyestalk could fit in at all, and I don't see why Donna would read up on Harriet Jones. I think it's more likely she'd read Rose's.
Okay, I hope this song will end soon, because I don't think I like River. I mean, "sweetie"? Come on! And the way she says it sounds so... sinister. Maybe she's the Valeyard's lover. :)
I really can't imagine the Doctor being attracted to her. I'll try to reserve judgement until I've actually seen the episode, but so far I don't like what I see.
This is going to sound really random, but maybe River Song wasn't talking to the doctor? Possibly the girl behind him? (If she is...)
I know this is very unlikley, but it's just a thought :D
It also seems to me that RTD may have had a hand in this script. Moffat tends to do stand alone episodes, but if RTD has said we should listen carefully to everything River Song says then he's possibly requested that Moffat either (a) put that specific character in, or (b) has certain specific lines to say to foreshadow the end of the current season.
Donna flicks through a biography of Harriet Jones, but has to run away before she reaches the final chapter (although viewers see its shocking title, unlike Donna).
I think that this is the red herring in that it is about Harriet Jones, but I do think that Donna will read someones book and not get to the end (Rose's book perhaps? Or that wierd book on the website?) but we get to see the title cause that would be an interesting way of foreshadowing the finale.
>>Donna tells The Doctor that she "likes a bit of Hank Marvin" when he warns her about the shadows.<<
Huh?? I'll say no, just because it makes no flippin' sense.
this is because there was a band called Hank Marvin and the shadows
Dont you think she sounds slightly like Yvonn from the series 2 finale?
Dont you think she sounds slightly like Yvonn from the series 2 finale?
Jess, just thought you'd like to know, on the latest post you've put science in the library, not silence in the library.
I think the comment about the Doctor bringing up the Dalek eye stalk could be true because the blue lights that the people have on their suits look like Dalek eyes
Someone else said something about her reading the doctor's book, and rewriting it, but I think she may be less sinister than that...or at least I'm hoping.
Maybe she's a "love interest" in the way a girl can develop a crush on a book character. She'd know about all his travels from reading up on him, and could even have imagined that she's a part of it. Just a theory...
Just to clarify the Shadows reference, Hank Marvin was the lead guitarist in a band called "The Shadows" (not "Hank Marvin and the Shadows" as previously suggested) who were at one point Cliff Richard's back up band. No-one under 40 would "get" that reference so I'm guessing that this is a red herrring - it fits Digital Spy's humour profile.
The "spoiler" references seem likely to be true, Moffatt is a regular poster on OG and in the spoiler thread made a plea for people not to spoil his episodes.
As for continuity content - well he is the new show runner - it wouldn't be that surprising if elements of these episodes shaped the end of the series...
there is a rumour that the 2008 christmas special is called Ghosts in the Machines! jess, maybe you could write that at the top of the crimbo blog
Here's a thought. What if, Donna finds the Doctor's book and remembering how much he missed Rose, rewrote it so she would come back?
Thus opening the void, and all bad stuff would happen... etc, etc...
A number of paradoxes would happen, which would be great :P
Official website has now changed.
Ghosts in the Machines?
We already had "Army of Ghosts" so doubt it.
Listen in the background for a repeated audio clip:
"Blimey! Whatever it is increased. The _____ are coming."
Are there any other inserted clips in these virals and what could that mean?
I think he said "the shadows are coming." Good ear, I wouldn't have noticed that!
To Anon. about the talking to the girl, you can tell by her eyes that she's staring at the Doctor, not behind him. Thought I might point that out as an artist... I notice details like that...
is the background voice not saying 'library breached'?
So our 2 red herrings where the Hank Marvin reference and the Harriet Jones biography. I got one of them, but thought the other one was the Dalek eye-stalk reference...
libray is created by lucy but Hey who turn out the lights!!
