New Tritovore baddies set to be scariest ever
He's dealt with some tough baddies, but Doctor Who will face his scariest yet - a halfman half-fly creature.
Called the Tritovore, it will be unleashed in the Easter special to do battle with the Timelord and sidekick Lady Christina de Souza - played by former EastEnders star Michelle Ryan.
Bosses want the monster to become as iconic as the Daleks and Cybermen.
A set source said: "Scriptwriters are confident they'll make a huge impact... Everyone remembers the Daleks and the Cyberman, but not a lot else if they're honest. The Tritovore will change that. They are disgusting and will last long in the memory."
Series boss Russell T Davies is hoping to use the creatures in three other special shows.
David Tennant quits as the doctor this year. The source added: "Russell is telling everybody to expect some real surprises. He wants him to go out with a bang."
Thar we go, secret uncovered :)

this link works, too about 30 mins to guess it lol
Nice one Combom!
this is what who hopefully needs, as long as they dont do "yes we killed them" *next series* "damn, how did you survive?"
Oh God. I have bad feelings already.
"Series boss Russell T Davies is hoping to use the creatures in three other special shows."
Doesn't sound particularly encouraging. So Tennant will be against the same foe for pretty much all the specials until he bows out.
So what will be the other alien race? Goodies?
Is this the same mirror that reported "Nasa experts to confirm there is life on Mars" WHEN THEY DID NOTHING OF THE SORT!!! I don't doubt that the Tritovore are in the first special but I doubt there being in every special.
Tritovore, sounds like a dinosaur name. I wonder if they'll fly or be simply humans with decorative wings?
"Everyone remembers the Daleks and the Cyberman, but not a lot else if they're honest"
Of the top of my head, The Rani and the Master.
The Rani, The Master, Slitheen, Sea Devils, Silurians, Sontarans, Autons. All off the top of my head.
I saw it and thought it said "Titovore" and I was like 'warg? Evil tit monsters?'
anyway, it seems like an interesting opponent, and it happens in the present day so that should be interesting. Yay unit!

Oh dear... Doctor Who Spammer's back.
I think RTD is asking for trouble creating a monster with what sounds like the word "trite" in their name.
Tritovores - aliens with insatiable appetites for trite. Sound well-suited to an RTD script if you ask me.
Forgive me if I'm completely off the mark because my Torchwood trivia isn't that great. Do these creatures sounds similar to the ones that Jack described in the episode 'Adam'? You know the ones that took Grey? They sounded so scary when Jack talked about them, so let's hope that if they are they live up to those expectations then...
And he better to go out with a bang!!
