From the Sun... *shrug* take it how you want, we all know how they'll snap up any Who news there is, even if its Smithy in a hat.
Billie's back on Doctor Who
BILLIE Piper will return to Doctor Who with ALL the Time Lord’s former companions as part of David Tennant’s final episode.
Billie, 26, will again play Rose Tyler and teams up with other sidekicks Donna Noble (Catherine Tate) and Martha Jones (Freema Agyeman).
The trio will join forces to take on the Doctor’s revived arch-enemy The Master, played again by John Simm. The episode sees the Timelord regenerate into the new Doctor (Matt Smith).
An insider said: “This will be the most exciting episode Doctor Who have ever done. We really wanted to get all the companions back on board as a fitting send-off to David.
“And of all the enemies for him to face in his final episode it makes sense for The Master to be the main one. Getting Billie to agree is a real coup, but she loved working on the show so much it didn’t take much convincing.”
Rose — who left after series two — formed the strongest bond with the Doctor out of the female companions. She returned for a few episodes in the last series where she was reunited with the Doctor.
Rose then returned to Earth with a separate half-human version of the Time Lord.
Since she left Doctor Who, Billie has gone on to star in the raunchy ITV2 drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl. She plays a high-class hooker in the risque show, which is currently on its third series.
We revealed yesterday how her three brothers and sisters are embarrassed about her success (You can read that article here) David, 37, will quit the show after the last of the four specials.
Meanwhile the red London bus set to feature in the first special has been damaged in Dubai by schoolkids. The double decker, which was smashed up shortly after arriving in Arab state for filming, was stripped for “souvenirs” after producers parked it outside a school.
A show source said: “This really is the unluckiest bus in the universe.”
Thar we go!

I really hope they don't do this, the end of the last series.
Also saw some of Law And Order: UK and Ageyman still did her annoying, having to explain everything to the camera thing...the smile she did was the cheesiest and worse thing ever featured in dr who. If they brought back all the companions again it would be like eating a four Cheese Pizza with extra margahrita and easy on the tomato sauce.
I realised I stopped half way through some sentances but hopefully my annoyance at this idea has been succesfully expressed.
Lol, wuuuuuut? How are they gonna pull that off? The Doctor already lost her twice, and she's supposed to be off living the rest of her life with the one that will admit he loves her. Maybe Ten.2 comes back, too.
Of course, it's 'insider sources' (... from the Sun...) and so on, so I suppose there's no reason to believe it if/until an official announcement is made. Still... I suppose it would be a nice send-off for Ten, to have his old buddies around. And even though I thought Piper's portrayal of Rose was a little off last time, I wrote it off to "Rose changing in the parallel universe" ... and it was still awesome. =)
Uhh okay... ramble moment over. ^^
You know, there's a reason why Journey's End every companion from the new series since Eccleston. It was to wipe the slate clean and say goodbye to all of the companions so that Moffat wouldn't have to worry about them, or resolve plot lines with them, etc.
The whole idea is ridiculous, repetitive, unoriginal, and exactly the kind of junk RTD would write, as evidenced by the finale of Series 4. Honestly, we've had the sad goodbye, we've had the happy goodbye, what other goodbyes except death are left for Rose?!
I hope this is the usual nonsense from the Sun, although John Simm was great as the Master. Still, he died. Gone. Resurrected Master = new actor Master, IF they resurrect him. Still, I'd want Moffat to bring him back and totally reboot RTD's "I'm evil because I'm crazy" nonsense. Evil is evil, and the Master was a great and believable villain until RTD made him crazy!
I hope they do do this just to send David Tennant off with a bang as he is the best Doctor ever
*sigh*
Here we go again with more fiction from The Sun and their unnamed sources and insiders.
The really annoying this is seeing how many people act as if these stories are true despite all the ones that turned out to be false in the past.
Still waiting for Harriet Jones to be revealed as the Queen Dalek...
it would be interesting to see how they "would" bring dnna back but maybe, rose, martha, christina and torchwood (but more gwen/ianto) and if they do it properly it can work well
i know it proberly wont happen but you can't make him regenerta with a companion who has just met him, she won't have that bond that makes a companion weak after the doctors regeneration
Knowing the sun, I expect there is an ounce of truth in this probably they appear in the same way Adric and the master came appeared in The Caves of Androzani.
IF it is true (and knowing the Sun, chances are it isn't) then it'll probably be a pre-regeneration flashback like in Logopolis - or a spinny-head-thing like in Caves of Androzani.
i am excited by this news love rose and it will be nice to see all them get to say goodbye to david
Dan
Oh, an androzani like reg.
That would work! Just don't have them all standing around with sollem faces. Gag.
My word this would be a very bad decision. Surely they have devised something much more original than this. Finger's crossed that the Sun are bulling once again.
I know how ridiculous this is gonna sound but I think The Sun may be right this time. At least about the Rose bit considering the little references of Rose related things popping up in the specials.
I mean in The Next Doctor Jackson Lake's companion was named Rosita.
Capt. Magambo from Turn Left is coming back in The Planet of the Dead. (Well her alternate self anyway.)
And Ood Sigma is coming back in the special with Lindsay Duncan as a companion. And they did use the Doomsday theme when Ood Sigma foreshadowed the fact that the Tenth Doctor's time may be coming to an end.
So...maybe RTD planned for Billie to come back for the last special before Series 4 even began.
*shrugs*
How will Donna come back??? If he sees her , then se BURNS up!! It said so in Journeys end!! Im just glad Billies back!
I wouldn't mind seeing Simm return but Billie shouldn't. I hope they don't pull a gathering of everyone since it has been done. It was great when it was done for Journey's End but a repeat would be poor. Flashbacks (even to stuff from between episodes) or something similar showing his companions now would be fine though. Also to anyone who complains about Journey's End, piss off already. You fail at understanding what Doctor Who is all about. It isn't every other "sci-fi" show.
I would actually really like to see David die alone. I think it would be fitting and a huge difference to all the past Doctors. The big thing about 10 has become he always looses them. Something focusing heavily of the Doctor himself and in particular David's incarnation is a MUST for his last "special".
I want it to be true so the doctor doesn't die alone but it is too much like the stolen earht/journeys end. I would love for Donna and the master to return. NOT MARTHA. If Rose returns, 10.2 has to as well x
Given that the Doctor is the last of the Time Lords, and the whole focus through Tennant's era has been on him being a 'lonely god', I think it would make sense to have him regenerate alone. That way he can have flashbacks to all his various companions and nemesi from the recent years (a la Caves of Androzani) and Matt Smith can still start his run with a clean slate...
Well, I think Rose is done and dusted, her story ended perfectly and they wouldn't bring her back except for a flashback. As much as I would love more Donna her story ended too. Martha's story didn't end at all though so it would be great to have her back one more time, a familiar face for the regeneration. John Simm was a great Master so I would have no complaints to that either.
HOWEVER, this new info regarding the journal of impossible things seems 100000000000 times more intriguing, interesting and brilliant than just bringing back all the companions, so I think everything is looking up. :)
No! I don't want this to happen. I'm fed up of constantly having companions back. I'd be happy to have the Tenth Doctor die with a guest or new companion. If any return I'd want Jenny please. Or even, what might be fitting for number 10, for him to regenerate on his own. Sad but emotional for the lonely Doctor.
Who else thinks it might just be flashbacks of them, as with all the Doctors in The Next Doctor? The Sun is known to hype it up.
