Episode Objective: To find out about the 'aliens' that have crashed in London, to find out who was behind that hoax.

Bullet-point Plot

• The Doctor and Rose arrive back in London
• They think they've been gone 12 hours
• They have actually been gone 12 months...
  
• The police question Rose
  
• Jackie yells alot and slaps The Doctor
• Rose and Jackie have a tender moment of apologizing and crying...
• Rose and The Doctor have a natter on the roof
• A spaceship appears
• It destroys Big Ben
  
• and ends up in the Thames River...
• The Doctor watches the crash on T.V
• He learns that an alien body has been found...
  
• It is also learned that the Prime Minister is missing
• Joseph Green becomes acting Prime Minister...
• The Doctor gives a TARDIS key to Rose
• He wanders off to investigate the alien 'body'
• Mickey Smith sees him and realizes Rose is back...
• The 'dead' alien begins making noises
• The Doctor discovers a wee piggy
• The pig alien is shot dead...
• The Doctor is able to tell that it is not real
• He realizes that only an alien would have the technology to create a living pig alien
• Why would an alien want to create a fake alien?
• Harriet Jones has snuck in to the cabinet office
• She sees Joseph Green and two other MP's
• They unzip their skin and reveal themselves as Slitheen...
• Mickey appears at Rose's house
• He confronts her about leaving
• He was a murder suspect for a year
• He tells her that The Doctor has gone off in the TARDIS...
• Rose, Jackie and Mickey go to where the TARDIS was parked
• The TARDIS reappears
• Jackie runs off, terrified...
• Jackie calls a help line claiming she has seen an alien called 'The Doctor'
• The name goes in a data base and creates a code 9 alert
• Joseph Green is told that The Doctor is the expert on aliens...
• Both The Doctor and Rose are then called to the Cabinet Office
• Rose is taken aside by Harriet Jones
• They then both find the Prime Ministers body
• A Slitheen enters the room...
• The Doctor is given an ID card
  
• As he is sharing his knowledge, Joseph Green reveals himself to be a Slitheen.
• He activates a hand-held device
• It sends a deadly dose of electricity through the ID cards...
